BIFF only serves a pick when its confidence clears its bar (60%, or 62% in the playoffs). On a short slate, or before a sport's lines post, that list can be empty. Lines refresh around 11 a.m., 4:10 p.m. and 7:10 p.m. ET, so check back after the next refresh, or switch sport or day with the filters at the top of Top Picks. The Board and the Analyzer still show every player with a posted line.
Opening night, Tuesday, Oct 20. Preseason games show up on the Board for reference, but BIFF doesn't pick them: starters sit and minutes are unpredictable, so they aren't fair to grade.
Every pick BIFF serves is logged on its server before the game starts and graded automatically from the official box score. Pushes don't count toward the win rate, and props voided because a player didn't play are listed but not counted. The record is the same for every user, and losses stay on the board.
In basketball, BIFF gives the out player's usual points, rebounds, assists and shots to the active teammates who already produce those stats, in proportion to how much of each they produce, and adds it to their projections. Only part of it is passed on, and it's capped. It counts fully on the first night and fades as the team plays more games without them, because recent box scores start to show it on their own. A questionable player counts at half weight. In football it works the same way for receivers and running backs: catches, receiving yards, carries and rushing yards move to the teammates who already get them. If a questionable player's own props are posted, BIFF treats him as playing and moves nothing. Look for the green ⬆ usage note on a pick.
The player left the game early with an injury. The pick still counts in BIFF's official record, win or lose. PrizePicks usually grades these as played; some books void them. The Track Record shows how many picks carry an * and BIFF's 80%+ record with and without them.
When BIFF shows a demon (a higher line) or a goblin (a lower line) on a pick, that alt line is graded on its own number from the same box score and kept as its own record on Home. It never changes the standard pick's result or the official record.
An over needs the player on the floor. BIFF skips OVER picks on players listed as questionable or game-time, and on players who average under 15 minutes. Unders on those players are still allowed. When a player's minutes jump for three straight games, BIFF trusts the new role over the season average.
BIFF shows PrizePicks lines first, with DraftKings and FanDuel for reference. Lines move through the day and can differ between apps by half a point or more, so always check the line in the app you play before you enter.
No. Your logged entries track your own results on your device. BIFF's official record only counts the picks BIFF itself served.

Neither. BIFF is a sports analytics tool for information and entertainment. It doesn't take bets or hold money, every pick can lose, and past results don't guarantee future ones. You must be 21 or older. If gambling stops being fun, call 1-800-GAMBLER (1-800-426-2537), or in Massachusetts call or text 1-800-327-5050.
If you can use PrizePicks, you can use this. It’s the same picks — same players, same lines, same more/less — BIFF just tells you which side to take and how confident it is. Six screens total, but you really only need two: Top Picks to see the plays, and the Log to track them.
